Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH): “You weren’t on the call?”
Ambassador Taylor: “No”
On July 27th, 2019, President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed launching an investigation into corruption that involved both nations’ governments.
Then Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff decided they could change that conversation in order to impeach the President. Democrats thought it was going to work… Then this happened.
Rep. Jim Jordan dismantled the left’s star witness in under 10 minutes.
On July 26th, August 27th, and lastly September 5th, Mr. Taylor met with Zelensky and no investigation of Burisma or the Bidens was mentioned.
Zelensky also never made any form of public announcement like Trump requested. Yet, the funds were given to Ukraine anyway.
During his questioning of Schiff’s key witness, Rep. Jordan stated that the Ukrainians were unaware of any aid withholding during all 3 meetings Taylor had with Zelensky.
According to Mr. Taylor’s testimony:
“Mr. Jordan is certainly accurate on the first two… to my knowledge Ukrainians were not aware of the hold on assistance until the 29th of August”
No mention of any investigation into Biden ever happened in those meetings either.
Rep. Jordan clarified that when Taylor testified “it was made clear to” him that the funds were being held as leverage over Ukraine, it was the result of 4 conversations between 6 people. Literally none of his statement about “Quid pro Quo” was based on his personal knowledge or experiences. It was all hearsay.
At the end of the day, that was all that mattered.
