Project Veritas caught Twitter employees on camera laughing about the shadowbanning of conservative voices… People seem to forget this happened.
According to this Twitter employee Reddit is also guilty of shadowbanning people. Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter himself said that Twitter shadowbans at least 600 THOUSAND people. Somehow, there are still some people who refuse to believe its happening anyways.
In this video by Project Veritas, the Twitter employee could be heard saying:
โOne strategy is to shadow ban so you have ultimate control,โ a former Twitter software engineer, Abhinov Vadrevu, says in the video. โThe idea of a shadow ban is that you ban someone but they donโt know theyโve been banned, because they keep posting and no one sees their content. So they just think that no one is engaging with their content, when in reality, no one is seeing it.โ
โYou just sort of turn off all the features for them,โ Vadrevu continues. โThey still see everything, itโs all there. You can like it, favorite it, or you can like retweet, or whatever. But at the end of the day, no one else interacts. No one else sees what youโre doing.โ
Watch the video of Project Veritas making history by exposing that shadow banning is real:
Vadrevu also worries in the video that news of the tactic would earn Twitter bad press if it ever became public, and called it a โrisky strategy.โย โI definitely know Reddit does this,โ he adds. โBut I donโt know if Twitter still does it.โ
